  1. Highest individual score

The record for the highest individual score at the T20 World Cup is held by former New Zealand cricketer and current England red-ball coach Brendon McCullum. The former Black Caps player notched up a massive 123(58) in the 2012 World Cup against Bangladesh and created the record.

Rohit Sharma’s personal best at the T20 World Cup came against Australia in the year 2010, when he notched up an unbeaten 65-ball 79 during India’s chase. Sharma, being one of the most experienced players at the tournament, will look to seize every opportunity in front of him.

Though it is a difficult feat to achieve, it is not impossible. Given Rohit Sharma’s abilities, the batting maestro can break McCullum’s record. India will play five games in the group stage of the T20 World Cup and if they manage to end up in the top two of their group, they’ll move into the semi-finals.
