4. Running out of the non-striker

In line with the laws framed by the MCC, the run out at the non-striker's end, also known as 'Mankading,' will move from the ‘Unfair Play’ section to the ‘Run out’ section.

This way of effecting a run-out has been a talking point for a very long time. While some believe that it is an unfair way to inflict a dismissal, many also support the rule stating that the batters should be inside their crease at the non-striker's end. 

Recently, India's Deepti Sharma used this method to inflict a dismissal in the third ODI match against England Women as the Women in Blue went on to complete a famous series victory against England on their home soil.
