The left-arm pacer has an experience of playing in 71 T20I matches and has bagged 92 wickets at an economy of 7.73. The 27-year-old is often entrusted to bowl the tough overs in the powerplay and at the death. He has a deceptive slower ball up his sleeve and is quite tough to tackle especially at the fag end of the innings.&nbsp;
Taskin Ahmed and Mohammad Saifuddin will have the responsibility to support Mustafizur on the pace bowling front. Taskin has been quite impressive with the ball upfront and will share the new ball with the veteran left-arm pacer whereas Saifuddin might be the enforcer in the middle-overs for Bangladesh.
Coming to the spin department, the Bangla Tigers will bank on skipper Shakib Al Hasan to deliver the goods with the ball. Shakib can bowl during any phase of the game, be it the powerplay, middle-overs, or at the death. With 122 wickets, he is the highest wicket-taker for Bangladesh in T20Is and his form will be crucial from Bangladesh’s perspective in the upcoming tournament.

<h3>7. Afghanistan - (Rashid Khan, Mujeeb ur Rahman, Fazalhaq Farooqi, Fareed Ahmad Malik) - 6.5/10</h3>

Afghanistan usually build their bowling strategy around their world-class spinners - <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/cricket-news/the-secret-behind-rashid-khans-success-is-his-tremendous-hard-work-asghar-afghan/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rashid Khan</a> and&nbsp; Mujeeb ur Rahman. Though the T20 World Cup will be in Australia, a country that aids seam bowling, the spin duo has the prowess to thrive in those conditions as well.
Mujeeb has been Afghanistan’s main strike force with the new ball and Rashid has been entrusted to bamboozle batters in the middle overs and at the death. The spin twins have picked up a total of 163 wickets in T20Is between them and will be the main weapon of Mohammad Nabi &amp; Co. in the marquee event.
Fazalhaq Farooqi and Fareed Ahmad Malik will carry the mantle of Afghanistan’s pace attack. Farooqi has played 14 games for his national side and taken 18 wickets at an economy of 6.82. His compatriot Fareed has been a part of 20 T20Is and taken 29 wickets at an economy of 8.61.
 The left-arm seamers have been quite impressive at the starting phases of the innings but have conceded runs at the death. They will look to make amends in the upcoming global tournament.

<h3>6. England - (Chris Jordan, Reece Topley, Mark Wood, Adil Rashid) - 7.5/10</h3>

There is a lot of variety in England’s bowling attack. Jos Buttler &amp; Co. have Reece Topley to dent the opposition with his left-arm angle and extra bounce, and then they have Mark Wood to rattle batters with his fiery pace. Then comes the wily spinner <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/for-me-the-door-isnt-closed-adil-rashid-hopeful-of-returning-to-test-side/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Adil Rashid</a> and last but not least the veteran Chris Jordan to tighten the screws at the death.
England will look at Topley to start the proceedings for them. The left-arm pacer has taken 15 wickets in the 16 T20Is he has played. Talking about Wood, the speedster bowls at an alarming pace and will be quite lethal in the seam friendly Australian conditions.
The veteran spinner Rashid is England’s most trusted wicket-taking option in the middle-overs and has also improved his expertise with the new ball. The ‘Three Lions’ have a death-overs specialist in Jordan, who has played 81 games and taken 90 wickets in T20Is.

<h3>5. Pakistan - (Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz ) - 8/10</h3>

The 22-year-old has made 40 appearances for Pakistan in T20Is and taken 47 wickets at an economy of 7.75. He has been an overwhelming force with the new ball and equally brilliant at the death.
Naseem Shah will share the responsibilities with the new ball alongside Shaheen. The 19-year has shown a lot of promise since he made his debut in the recently concluded Asia Cup. In six T20Is so far, the youngster has taken seven wickets at an economy of 8.13.&nbsp;
Pakistan also have Haris Rauf in their ranks to unsettle rival batters with his whizzing pace. Coming to the spin department, Babar Azam &amp; Co. will look at Shadab Khan for wickets during the middle overs. With nine wickets in six games, Shadab was Pakistan's highest wicket-taker in the 2021 T20 World Cup. 
But what stood out about his bowling effort was his impressive economy rate of 6.00. He also bowled well for the Babar Azam-led side during the recent Asia Cup 2022 and was the joint-highest wicket-taker for them alongside&nbsp;Mohammad Nawaz.
Shadab will be bolstered by the presence of Nawaz. The left-arm off-spinner was outstanding with the ball during the Asia Cup 2022 where he took eight wickets at an economy of 5.89. The team management will hope he carries his form into the T20 World cup 2022.

<h3>4. India - (Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Harshal Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal) - Rating 8/10</h3>

India will have <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/social-tracker-cricket/nobody-is-affected-by-your-words-or-care-about-your-existence-bhuvneshwar-kumars-wife-hits-out-against-trolls/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bhuvneshwar Kumar</a> to set the tone with the new ball. He has been India’s prime weapon with the ball upfront and also showed his class in the recently concluded Asia Cup where he took 11 wickets at an economy of 6.05 and finished as the leading wicket-taker.
Jasprit Bumrah is India’s wrecker-in-chief on the bowling front. He is pretty accurate with the new ball and simply impeccable at the death. The way he delivers yorkers at the death is a thing of beauty. Bumrah’s form can very well make or break India’s T20 World cup campaign.
Harshal Patel is the other designated death-over bowler for the Men in Blue. His slower balls and the dipping yorker make him a difficult bowler to put away. India’s spin department will be handled by Yuzvendra Chahal. The ace-spinner is a genuine wicket-taker and is unafraid of pitching the ball up in the search of wickets.&nbsp;

<h3>3. New Zealand - (Trent Boult, Tim Southee, Lockie Ferguson, Ish Sodhi ) - 8.5/10</h3>

The New Zealand bowling attack will be headed by <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/trent-boult-released-from-new-zealand-crickets-central-contract/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Trent Boult</a> and Tim Southee during the global tournament. The veterans have taken 177 wickets between them in T20Is and are one of the most experienced new-ball pairs who will be on display at the upcoming event. 
The ace bowling pair is known to wreak havoc with their swing and will hold the cards for the Blackcaps.
Boult has been breathing fire with the ball in the last couple of years. He was the highest-wicket taker among fast bowlers in the last T20 World Cup with 13 scalps to his name. The left-arm pacer proved his worth in Australian conditions in the recently culminated ODI series where he took ten wickets in three games.
Besides the veteran duo, the Kiwis have the express pace of Lockie Ferguson. He has been a force to be reckoned with in the shortest format as he has taken 32 wickets in 21 T20Is at an economy of 6.84. 
New Zealand also have an attacking spinner in Ish Sodhi, who has been entrusted by the Kane Williamson &amp; Co. to provide breakthroughs in the middle overs in the past and has performed the role fairly well. He has taken 99 wickets in 76 games in the shortest format for New Zealand.

<h3>2. South Africa - (Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi, Anrich Nortje, Tabraiz Shamsi) - 9/10</h3>

South Africa are likely to go with the fiery pace trio of <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/i-view-it-as-the-pinnacle-of-cricket-kagiso-rabada-recalls-his-test-call-up-says-he-remembers-it-vividly/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kagiso Rabada</a>, Lungi Ngidi, and Anrich Nortje in their playing XI during the mega event. Rabada and Ngidi usually start the proceedings with the new ball and are entrusted to give their side an ideal start. The duo is equally capable to deliver the goods at the death and show the versatility of the bowling attack.
Nortje is a fiery pacer and can clock 150 kmph consistently. He was the joint highest wicket-taker for his side in the last year’s T20 World Cup alongside Dwaine Pretorius with nine scalps to his name. He can again be South Africa's X-factor with the ball in the T20 extravaganza in Australia.
Tabraiz Shamsi is a vital cog in South Africa’s bowling wheel. The left-arm wrist spinner has made 56 appearances for the Proteas in the shortest format and has 69 wickets to his name at an economy of 7.11. Several of his scalps have come when the batters attempted to take him on and hence the big grounds of Australia will aid his aggressive style of bowling.

The duo took 20 wickets combined in the last year’s T20 World Cup and will look to ace the challenge again in their home conditions. Cummins, on the other hand, generally plays the role of an enforcer in the middle overs, wrecking batters with his express pace.
