2. South Africa - (Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi, Anrich Nortje, Tabraiz Shamsi) - 9/10
South Africa are likely to go with the fiery pace trio of Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi, and Anrich Nortje in their playing XI during the mega event. Rabada and Ngidi usually start the proceedings with the new ball and are entrusted to give their side an ideal start. The duo is equally capable to deliver the goods at the death and show the versatility of the bowling attack.
Nortje is a fiery pacer and can clock 150 kmph consistently. He was the joint highest wicket-taker for his side in the last year’s T20 World Cup alongside Dwaine Pretorius with nine scalps to his name. He can again be South Africa's X-factor with the ball in the T20 extravaganza in Australia.
Tabraiz Shamsi is a vital cog in South Africa’s bowling wheel. The left-arm wrist spinner has made 56 appearances for the Proteas in the shortest format and has 69 wickets to his name at an economy of 7.11. Several of his scalps have come when the batters attempted to take him on and hence the big grounds of Australia will aid his aggressive style of bowling.
