1. Australia - (Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Adam Zampa) - 9/10

It was the bowling quartet of Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, and Adam Zampa that led Australia to their maiden T20 World Cup title and a lot will rely on the quartet again as the Aussies look to defend the crown.

Starc and Hazlewood are the tone-setters with the new ball and also the go-to pair at the fag end of the innings. The duo took 20 wickets combined in the last year’s T20 World Cup and will look to ace the challenge again in their home conditions. Cummins, on the other hand, generally plays the role of an enforcer in the middle overs, wrecking batters with his express pace.

Zampa is a key figure in Australia's bowling attack. The 30-year-old is known to strangle opposition with subtle changes in pace and variations. The ace spinner was instrumental in Australia’s maiden T20 World Cup victory in 2021 finishing second on the wickets column with 13 scalps from seven games at a jaw-dropping economy of 5.81. This year again he will hold the cards for his team in the middle-overs.
