Suresh Raina gave his services to the Indian team from 2005-2018. During his amazing career, he played as a middle-order batter in the majority of his appearances. After getting dropped for more than two years from the Indian team, he took retirement from international cricket along with the former India skipper MS Dhoni in August 2020.
Nowadays, he works as a commentator in major T20 leagues. In June 2023, he started new innings of his life with the launch of his restaurant Raina Indian Restaurant in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. During the opening of his restaurant, Raina said that he was passionate about cricket and food.
Furthermore, he added that opening his restaurant was a dream come true for him. The iconic player’s restaurant serves a variety of sumptuous Indian dishes such as hot samosas, dahi bhalla, pani puri, soup, jeera rice, veg biryani to name a few.
