The rising star and mystery spinner, Varun Chakravarthy, has been in ominous form with the ball in the shorter formats of cricket. His consistent performances in the T20 leagues and T20I cricket meant that he was eventually elevated to make his much-awaited debut for Team India in the 50 overs aka ODI format against England in the recent series played at home. Notably, the spinner made his debut on February 9, in Cuttack.
