Top 5 part-time Test batters without half-centuries
In the history of Test cricket, bowlers’ batting efforts have gone unnoticed that's why it’s essential to discuss five part-time batters who notched up the most runs without fifties.
2. Kemar Roach
Kemar Roach has been active in the West Indies’ Test team since 2009 and in these 15 years, he has picked up 270 wickets in 147 innings of 81 matches. With these numbers, the speedster is the fifth-leading wicket-taker for the Windies team in the red-ball format of the sport.
Roach has also scored 1174 runs for his side without any fifty and a hundred in 129 innings. The veteran produced his best knock with his bat in August 2012 against New Zealand in Kingston. In his side’s convincing five-wicket win, he contributed 41 runs in the second innings.
