In their glorious cricketing journey, they have unearthed many gems that have proven their might time and time again.

Talking about T20Is, there have been many match-winners who have donned the Bangladesh jersey and have taken international cricket by storm. Let us shed light on some of the best performances delivered by the Bangladesh bowlers in the shortest format.

Here are the top 5 T20I performances delivered by Bangladesh bowlers:

5. Mashrafe Mortaza vs Ireland, 3rd T20I, Belfast 2012

Bangladesh locked horns with Ireland for the final game of the three-match T20I series in July 2012. The series was already in the visitors' bag as they had won the first two encounters and it was an opportunity for William Porterfield & co. to end the series on a good note.

After opting to bat, Ireland were off to a solid start. The hosts were at 67 for 1 in eight overs and were looking good to post a big total with Niall O'Brien and Porterfield at the crease. Mashrafe Mortaza was brought into the attack and the veteran bowler got rid of Porterfield in his first over. He also struck thrice in his next two overs to leave Ireland reeling at 84 for 5.

Mortaza finished the game with impeccable figures of 4-0-19-4. Porterfield & co. could only manage 140 runs at the end of 20 overs. The Bangla Tigers chased the total down on the last ball to sweep the series 3-0.
