The Pathan brothers, Irfan and Yusuf, brought Baroda's culture to prominence through their performances on the field. Born to a humble Gujarati Pathan family, the duo quickly rose to the ranks. Yusuf and Irfan were part of India's World Cup-winning squads, respectively. Together, they launched the Cricket Academy of Pathans, mentoring young talent with legends like Kapil Dev. Apart from cricket, they showed generosity during the COVID-19 pandemic by distributing face masks. Recently, Yusuf ventured into politics, winning the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from Berhampore, West Bengal.
