Laura Wolvaardt has the lynchpin of South Africa’s batting line-up across formats. The 23-year-old  has featured in 80 ODIs and scored 3193 runs at an average of 45.61. Coming to the shortest format, she has scored 849 runs in 47 matches at a strike rate of 109.83.

In the 2022 World Cup, Wolvaardt left the world in awe with her glorious stroke play and has piled on runs for fun. She featured in eight matches and amassed 433 runs at an average of 54.12 The opening batter would again be entrusted to do the heavy lifting with the bat in the forthcoming T20 extravaganza.

Wolvaardt displayed her batting might in the recently culminated Women’s Big Bash League 2022-23 and accumulated 403 runs in 16 matches for Adelaide Strikers at a strike rate of 106.05. She has all the class in the world to thrive in her home conditions and aggregate heaps of runs in the T20 carnival.
