Megan Schutt has been a prominent figure in the international arena. She has featured in 79 ODIs and bagged 112 wickets at an economy of 4.19. Coming to the shortest format, the 30-year-old has picked up 124 scalps in 96 matches at an economy of 6.21.
Schutt displayed her mastery with the ball in the T20 World Cup 2023. When Australia battled against Sri Lanka in the 11th match of the tournament, the ace pacer brought her A-game into play and ripped through the Sri Lankan batting line-up, picking up an incredible four-wicket haul.
When Australia and South Africa took center stage for the final showdown, Schutt was at her consistent best and conceded just 23 runs in four overs. Also, she took the prized wicket of Wolvaardt and put a halt to the momentum of South Africa’s chase. Megan finished the marquee tournament, with 10 wickets in six games at an economy of 6.13.
