5. Nat Sciver-Brunt
England has produced many match-winners but there have not been many of the caliber of Nat-Sciver Brunt. She has piled on 3009 runs in 94 ODIs at a strike rate of 94.68 and bagged 65 wickets at an economy of 4.46. Coming to the shortest format, the Tokyo-born has notched up 2175 runs in 108 T20Is and bagged 79 wickets at an economy of 6.47.
Sciver was quite exceptional with the bat in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2023. In the encounter against India, she arrived at the crease with England two down for just 10 runs and Renuka Singh Thakur breathing fire. But the ace all-rounder hammered the opposition bowlers all across the ground to shift the momentum in favour of her side. Though wickets tumbled at the one end, she kept her calm and scored a brisk half-century to help Heather Knight & Co. post a competitive total.
Sciver was in pristine touch in the clash against Pakistan and tormented bowlers with her marauding bat. She plundered 81* runs off just 40 deliveries to propel England to a daunting total of 213 runs. Also, the ace all-rounder took a wicket in the game. The 30-year-old amassed a total of 216 runs in five games played at the marquee tournament at a strike rate of 141.17.
