8. Marizanne Kapp
Marizanne Kapp has been one of the finest all-rounders South African cricket has ever produced. She has racked up 2367 runs in 129 ODIs at an average of 30.34 and bagged 147 wickets at an economy of 3.81. Talking about the shortest format, the 33-year-old has smashed 1178 runs in 94 T20Is and picked up 76 scalps in those outings.
Though Kapp was at not her best with the bat in the T20 World Cup 2023 and could score only 58 runs in six games at a strike rate of 120.83, she was phenomenal with the ball and was South Africa’s wrecker-in-chief, bagging nine wickets in those outings at an economy of 6.27.
Kapp put up an exhibition of some top-class bowling in the clash against Bangladesh. She was impeccable with her lines and lengths and dented the opposition’s progress with timely wickets. The ace all-rounder finished the match with frugal figures of 4-0-17-2.
