9. Rajeshwari Gayakwad
Rajeshwari Gayakwad has been a prominent figure in the international arena. She has featured in 64 ODIs and bagged 99 wickets at an economy of 3.63. Coming to the shortest format, the ace spinner has picked up 58 wickets in 55 games at an economy of 6.22.
Gayakwad has been India’s strike force with the ball in the middle phases of the innings. She is an experienced customer and was counted upon to deliver the goods in the T20 World Cup 2023. However, the 31-year-old was not able to weave her magic and failed miserably in the tournament.
Gayakwad featured in four matches and could not garner even a single wicket in the competition. Due to her inability to provide breakthroughs, India were not able to pick up wickets in clusters and hence, leaked runs throughout the innings.
