Australia won their sixth World Cup, bringing the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 to a close. In the final in Ahmedabad, they defeated India. The competition, which began on October 5 and saw 48 games played over nearly a month and a half, showed the globe some great performances.

This article will discuss the performances of the top 10 teams that competed in the World Cup 2023. Every squad gave their all, but it only paid off for a few. Only four teams qualified for the semi-final, including India, Australia, South Africa, and New Zealand.

The undefeated Indian team was then bested by a resilient and well-planned Australian team who bettered them on the biggest day of it all. They lifted the ICC World Cup 2023 trophy and became 6-time champions.

In this article, we will talk about the performances of the top ten teams that took part in the World Cup 2023 and rate them accordingly.

Here is how the performances of all the 10 teams in World Cup 2023 are rated:

Bangladesh won the first game of the tournament but then lost six consecutive games until winning their lone second game against Sri Lanka. With this win, they managed to secure a spot in the CIC Champions Trophy 2025 as well. Their leading performers were Mahmudullah (328 runs) and Mehidy Hasan Miraz (10 wickets).

Bangladesh’s ICC World Cup 2023 was plagued by injuries, poor form, and inconsistency. The Bangladeshi fans were also saddened to see two of their biggest players fighting and this led to poor performance overall from Bangladesh. They also didn’t prepare well for this tournament and came into the CWC 2023 with high hopes, which were dashed pretty quickly.
