4. Ashleigh Gardner
Ashleigh Gardner has taken the international arena by storm from the time she made her debut. She has knocked out the wind bowling line-ups that have come her way and made world cricket her own. Further, the 25-year-old has been a strike force for Australia with the ball.
The Sydney-born has smashed 1088 runs in 69 T20Is at a strike rate of 133.62 and picked up 49 wickets at an economy of 6.17. Gardner’s all-round prowess is second to none and therefore, the Gujarat franchise broke their bank to sign her. They finally grabbed the ace all-rounder for INR 3.2 crore.
5. Harleen Deol
Harleen Deol has been part of India’s white-ball set-up for the last couple of years and has shown glimpses of brilliance in the international arena. She has scored 245 runs in 22 T20Is at a strike rate of 89.09 and bagged six wickets for the Women in Blue. Harleen can act as a floater with the bat and is a wily customer with the ball. Thus, Gujarat Giants acquired the batting all-rounder at the WPL 2023 auction for INR 40 lakh.
