One of the latest casualties ahead of the ICC World Cup 2023, New Zealand will most likely miss the services of experienced pacer Tim Southee. Southee, dislocated and fractured a bone in his right thumb while taking a catch in slips in an ODI against England.
Less than three weeks before the start of the World Cup in India, this setback has put New Zealand in serious trouble as an X-ray confirmed that Southee had broken his thumb, ruling the pacer out of the remainder of the England tour.
