Best all-rounder- Shakib Al Hasan
When it comes to top quality all-rounders at the highest level, the name of Bangladesh’s workhorse, Shakib Al Hasan surely comes to our mind. The southpaw has been around for the Tigers for a long time now. The Bangladeshi Test captain had a good reign with both bat and ball this year as well, scoring 497 runs and scalping 21 wickets in the 15 ODIs.
Few of his best all-round performances during 2018 include two back-to-back fifties and 3-wicket hauls against Zimbabwe right at the beginning of the year. The experienced campaigner also had a good Asia Cup and contributed in almost every match for Bangladesh before being ruled out with an injury.
As the World Cup is scheduled for next year, his team would be hoping to get best out of him at the mega event. Being someone, not just the fans but the players look up to as well Shakib would himself know that his ODI form in the next few months can create history for Bangladesh cricket.
