Shakib Al Hasan, by far, is the greatest all-rounder in the history of Bangladesh. Shakib holds the numero uno position in the current ICC Test Rankings for all-rounders. He had a roller-coaster ride in the year 2018 as he caught up with a lot of injuries. Howbeit, he managed to come back stronger every time. Despite injuries, he happened to be a part of 30 matches and contributed with both the bat and the ball.

Having played 30 games, Shakib notched-up 958 runs at a decent average of 31.93 while scoring nine fifties. With 958 runs to his name, he occurred to be the fifth-highest run-getter for Bangladesh in the year 2018. In addition to that, he also scalped 53 wickets at an average of 21.84 and a strike-rate of 31.6. To add to it, he also grabbed two five-wicket hauls.

Thus, with such stately numbers in his magazine, Shakib will prove to be the only all-rounder in this playing XI.
