Kuldeep Yadav, the Indian mystery spinner, has been on an exponential curve in the recent scheme of international cricket. Kuldeep has taken world cricket by storm owing to his inexplicable bowling that has left even the best of the batsmen in doubt. The year 2018 has proved to be a dream year for the chinaman bowler.

The left-arm spinner from Kanpur has starred in 31 matches for India in the year 2018. From these games, he has managed to take 76 wickets at an astounding average of 17.09 and excellent strike-rate of 22.20. Besides, he also grabbed three 5-wicket hauls with the best figures being 6 for 25 (ODI). At 76 wickets, he also transpires to be the highest wicket-taker this year.

Currently, Yadav holds the number three position in the recent ICC ODI and T20I rankings. Thus, with an uncanny ability to remain a sleight-of-hand for the batsmen, he grabs a place for himself in this XI.
