POTM Travis Head said:

"Had some food, had a shower. Exciting game again after the Mumbai game. Played beautifully. We thought we had to adapt in the first six overs. But we had the batting order and they had the license to after the bowlers. We compliment each other well. He is a young guy. We fed off each other's confidence. Pleased with how I hit the ball today," Head said.

Winning captain Pat Cummins said:

"Wish I was a batter. Wonderful game of cricket. Amazing scenes. Good fun. You try your best. If you bowl an over of 7 or 8, you can have an impact on the game. I have given up trying to read the wicket. Chinnaswamy looked dry. Really happy. Four wins now. The batters have gone about it having a smile on their faces," Cummins said.

Losing captain Faf du Plessis said:

"Much better (batting performance) from us, that was a proper t20 wicket. Just tried to get close in the end, but 280 was very far. It's tough. We tried a few things, we tried different things. There's no way to hide when your confidence is low. The fast bowlers found it quite difficult out there. Similar to the batting perspective, we need to work on few areas. Need to make sure the run rate doesn't go down after powerplay. The guys put up their hand and never gave up (in the run chase). It was good to see the fight, 30-40 runs from the bowling perspective was a bit too much. It's important to go away and freshen your mind, it's such a mental game. Sometimes you feel your mind is going to explode. When you get back to the contest you have to give full commitment," Faf said.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have had a terrible start to their IPL 2024 campaign. The Faf du Plessis-led side lost five out of their six matches so far in the tournament and as things stand, every game might just be a do-or-die affair for them. Up next, the Challengers are set to host Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 15, which will not be an easy task.

Hyderabad have played an aggressive brand of cricket in the tournament. The likes of Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen have been incredible and that should give a lot of confidence to the visiting team, especially when RCB have struggled with the ball. Meanwhile, skipper Pat Cummins and Bhuvneshwar Kumar have been impressive with the ball but there’s room for improvement for the spin department.

When it comes to RCB, Virat Kohli and Dinesh Karthik are the only cricketers who have been consistent with their performance. Faf du Plessis scored a half-century in their last match against Mumbai Indians but his strike rate is concerning. Meanwhile, Glenn Maxwell sustained a thumb injury and Cameron Green is likely to make his return to the squad while Will Jacks is expected to retain his spot. In the bowling department, Reece Topley is likely to continue.

Probable Playing XI:

Royal Challengers Bengaluru: Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis (c), Will Jacks, Rajat Patidar, Cameron Green, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Mahipal Lomror, Reece Topley, Vijaykumar Vyshak, Mohammed Siraj, Akash Deep

Sunrisers Hyderabad: Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Aiden Markram, Heinrich Klaasen (wk), Abdul Samad, Nitish Reddy, Shahbaz Ahmed, Pat Cummins (c), Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jaydev Unadkat, T Natarajan
