BBL 2022: Match 22, THU vs HUR Match Prediction- Who will win today's BBL match between Sydney Thunder and Hobart Hurricanes?

The 22nd match in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL) will see Sydney Thunder take on Hobart Hurricanes at Lavington Sports Oval in Albury on Saturday, December 31. 

Under the leadership of Chris Green, Thunder won their previous fixture against Brisbane Heat and are currently fifth on the points table while Hobart Hurricanes are occupying the sixth spot on the ladder - just two points behind Thuder.

Matthew Gilkes (37) and Rilee Rossouw (39) gave Thunder a decent start in the previous match while Daniel Sams with his blistering innings of 36* off 15 deliveries provided Thunder's innings with the much-needed impetus.

With the ball, Nathan McAndrew snared four wickets and turned the game in favour of Thunders. Sams, who changed the game with the bat, picked up two wickets as Thunder won the game by 11 runs.

When it comes to Hurricanes, the team defeated Melbourne Renegades in their previous fixture. Despite a terrible batting performance, Hurricanes managed to register an eight-run victory.
