The second edition of the Navi Mumbai Premier League will get underway from Monday, February 12 with the opening game between Mira Bhayandar Lions and Koparkhairne Titans. The match will be played at Mazgaon Cricket Club in Kalamboli, Navi Mumbai and will start at 10:00 AM IST. 

Mira Bhayandar finished on the second spot on the points table in the previous edition with five wins from seven matches. They further went on to win the win inaugural edition defeating Thane Tigers by seven wickets in the final. On the other hand, Koparkhairne Titans finished on the bottom with just one win to their name.

A total of eight teams will participate in the upcoming edition and will take on each other in a round-robin format with the top four teams qualifying for the semi-finals. Both teams will be eager to start the tournament on a winning note by winning the opening fixture.
