West Indies (WI) and Bangladesh (BAN) are set to continue their ongoing T20I series by playing the second T20I. Both sides will lock horns at the Arnos Vale Ground, St Vincent, on Wednesday, December 18. The visitors won the first T20I of the series and are leading 1-0.

The opening game saw the Tigers clinch a seven-run victory. The hosts after winning the toss, elected to field first and did a good job by restricting Bangladesh to 147/6 in their allotted 20 overs. The tourists' innings included valuable contributions from Soumya Sarkar, Jaker Ali and Mahedi Hasan. For West Indies, Akeal Hosein and Obed McCoy bagged two wickets each.

In reply, the Caribbean side's innings suffered a disappointing batting collapse with only skipper Rovman Powell providing some resistance with his 60-run knock. With no help from the side, the hosts eventually lost the game by seven runs. For Bangladesh, it was Mahedi who picked four crucial wickets and earned the Player of the Match award for his performance.
