One of the finest spinners in the game, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan, recently got married on October 3. The wedding ceremony was held in Kabul, and the pictures and videos of the celebrations have taken social media by storm. Considered one of the best all-rounders in the shortest format as well, Rashid followed the Pashtun customs for his wedding.
In a clip that has been going viral all over social media, outside the venue of the wedding, many people were seen roaming around carrying guns. Furthermore, the pictures of the wedding venue have been going viral as well.
As expected, several Afghanistan cricketers were present at the wedding, and many even took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to congratulate Rashid on the auspicious occasion.
Mohammad Nabi shared some pictures from the wedding as he congratulated Rashid. “Congratulations to the one and only King Khan, Rashid Khan, on your wedding! Wishing you a lifetime of love, happiness, and success ahead,” Nabi tweeted.

As for the cricketing front, Afghanistan are scheduled to face Bangladesh in a three-game ODI series next. Both sides will lock horns on November 6, 9, and 11. The venues for the games are yet to be decided.
As for Afghanistan’s recent games, the side defeated South Africa in a three-game ODI series after they won the first two games and faced a defeat in the third clash. They will hope to carry the same momentum in the upcoming games against Bangladesh and register some more wins.
