Andre Russell ruled out of remaining three England T20Is, Alzarri Joseph back from suspension
“Alzarri Joseph, having completed his two-match suspension, will rejoin the squad in Saint Lucia for the crucial final leg of the series, replacing Shamar Joseph,” CWI said in a statement.
Star Windies pacer Alzarri Joseph has made his return from suspension and can rejoin the West Indies squad for the final three T20I series against England. However, Joseph’s inclusion also comes as a blow for the Windies as ace all-rounder Andre Russell has been ruled out of the series due to an ankle sprain.
West Indies have lost the first two T20Is of the series and are hoping for a good performance in the remaining matches. Alzarri Joseph will be replacing Shamar Joseph; furthermore, all-rounder Shamar Springer will come in for Russell.

Interestingly, Joseph was handed a two-match ban by the Cricket West Indies (CWI) after he walked out in the middle of a game after an argument with skipper Shai Hope. However, with his ban lifted and a public apology issued about the matter, Joseph will hope for a better performance and improved behaviour.
As for the second T20I between the West Indies and England, both sides locked horns on November 10, and the Windies batted first and posted a total of 158 runs on the board in the first innings. As for England, Jos Buttler’s 83-run knock helped the visitors register their second straight win.
Furthermore, having lost the first two games of the series, the West Indies and England will face off in the next three games in St. Lucia. The hosts will take on England in the next three T20Is on November 15, 17, and 18.
