On the final day of the third Test at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney, Pakistan and Australia went head to head. After bowling out Pakistan for 115 in their second innings, Australia were left with a target of 130 to chase.  They successfully pursued the target, losing only two wickets and securing the game by eight wickets. This win resulted in Australia clinching the series with a 3-0 margin.

In a poignant moment after the match, Warner kissed his helmet and generously gave it away to a young fan, marking the conclusion of his last international innings. Earlier, in a fitting farewell at the SCG, Warner showcased his cricketing prowess, completing a commendable half-century in his final innings for Australia. The occasion became even more special as Warner, amidst a guard of honour from Pakistan, walked onto the field to pursue a target of 130, contributing to Australia's 3-0 clean sweep of the cricket series.
