In a momentous convergence of sport and culture, cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar graced the sacred city of Ayodhya for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, taking place on Monday, January 22. Tendulkar's presence added a cricketing touch to the auspicious occasion. Tendulkar was among the select few athletes invited to partake in the inauguration of the majestic Ram temple.

Notably, former Indian cricketer Venkatesh Prasad had already set foot in Ayodhya, sharing glimpses of the city's spiritual grandeur through images and videos. Potentially joining the cricketing luminaries at the holy site are power couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, set to enhance the ceremony's allure. Additionally, India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and former cricketer Anil Kumble graced the occasion, contributing to the cricketing representation at this cultural spectacle.

The event will draw a star-studded guest list, including cricketing stalwarts such as MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar, Mithali Raj, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Ravichandran Ashwin who all are invited. The 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony unfolds on January 22, attracting over 500 high-profile personalities.

Here's a glimpse of stars from the cricketing world gracing the occasion:

Majestic Ram temple is open for the devotees

The Ram temple, designed in the traditional Nagara style, stands as a marvel at 380 feet in length, 250 feet in width, and a towering 161 feet in height. Chandrakant Sompura and his son Ashish are the creative minds behind this architectural wonder. Spanning 70 acres, with the main temple area covering 2.7 acres and a built-up area of 57,000 square feet, the entire structure, valued at Rs 1,800 crore, was financed by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
