Former India cricketer Harbhajan Singh has showered heaps of praises on current India cricketer Ravindra Jadeja after his stupendous performance against Australia in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023.

Ravindra Jadeja was instrumental in India's victories in the first two Tests, in both of which, he was declared the Player of the Match. It is beyond doubt that his comeback after a long injury layoff has been with an absolute bang.

Only Ben Stokes can be compared with him: Harbhajan Singh makes special comment for Ravindra Jadeja

“Ravindra Jadeja’s abilities are something no one can question. He has been brilliant with the ball as usual, but especially with the bat, he has improved so much that even if you send him at No. 4 or No. 5, he will give you the runs you need. In world cricket, I feel he is the best all-rounder at the moment. Only Ben Stokes can be compared with him," the 42-year-old said while speaking to Sports Tak.

The former India spinner couldn't contain himself from amassing praises for Ravindra Jadeja. He stated that the 34-year-old is one of India's best assets at the moment and he should be managed in the best possible manner as he is one dependable player whom the team can turn to in case of any crisis.

Harbhajan further stated that Jadeja is currently the best all-rounder in world cricket, and only someone as good as Ben Stokes could probably be compared with him. He further said that though Jadeja has always been exceptional with the ball, even with the bat he has groomed himself to be extremely handy and should therefore be looked at as a solid middle-order option for Team India, especially to bail them out during crunch situations.

In the context of the second Test, Harbhajan said that Australia failed to read Jadeja's lengths, which Jadeja took full advantage of.

"The one thing Jadeja did really good in Delhi was that he ensured there was no compromise on the accuracy. His stump-to-stump line was relentless and the Aussies tried to play the sweep shot, something that won't work on this track with low bounce," Harbhajan commented.
