Sri Lanka legend Kumar Sangakkara came up with a peculiar response to a unique question on Twitter. Meta11, one of biggest cricket league in the Metaverse posed a question on social media asking which players one would choose if they had to fuse in three cricketers into one.

The former Wicketkeeper-batsman came up with a rather quirky reply to the question. Sangakkara replied to the tweet by tagging Virat Kohli as his first choice and South African legend AB De Villers as his second choice.

Unsure over the third player, the Lankan legend took his time to give a peculiar reply in another tweet. In a separate tweet, he claimed Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson, Suryakumar Yadav can fit well anywhere as he would fuse the three into one.

Sangakkara’s interesting response on Twitter

Sangakkara has worked with Sanju Samson during his time with IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals and the duo’s involvement has helped the club rise again. Adding Samson’s name in his response to the question seemed like a straightforward choice.

Undoubtedly, the statements made by the legend himself would boost Samson’s morale as he is yet to cement his spot as a regular in the first team setup.

South Africa legend AB De Villiers called time on his professional career from all forms of cricket in November last year. However, the player is still admired by many as he was one of the most lethal strikers of the ball during his prime days.

Kohli, on the other hand, is still part of the Indian cricket team as his next assignment is the forthcoming bilateral series against South Africa. Prior to the Australia series, the star batter was seen struggling to strike the ball and score big. However, it appears that Kohli gained his form after his blistering 48-ball 63 knock against the Aussies in the series-decider. The right-hander will look to continue this momentum as the World Cup is set to commence in a few weeks.
