David Miller has missed just two games for Gujarat Titans ever since the franchise came into existence in 2022. One of the games he missed was against the Punjab Kings in IPL 2024, a match Shubman Gill and Co. lost by a narrow margin of three wickets. It came as a big blow for the 2022 winners as the niggle ruled Miller out against the Lucknow Super Giants too, with GT suffering a 33-run loss in that fixture.

Ahead of their upcoming against Rajasthan Royals, the only team to remain undefeated league so far, Australian speedster Spencer Johnson provided an update on Miller's availability. Johnson confirmed that it won't take too long for Miller to recover, and he should be good to go for the clash against Delhi Capitals on April 17.

"Davy, I think he is not too far away. Even if he misses this one, he will be available for the next one," Johnson said in the pre-match press conference ahead of Titans' clash against Royals.

The left-armer also stated that despite disappointing outings against Punjab and Lucknow, the franchise has performed well as whole in the past couple of years, referring to their title-winning debut season and the runners-up finish last year.

"Couple of disappointing performances in the last couple of games, but in the last couple of years, we have
shown how good a side we are," the 28-year-old added.

Even though RR has been on song in this edition's IPL, winning all four of their games so far, GT have an excellent record against the 2008 winners, coming up trumps on four out of the five instances they have faced off in the past.
