England's stand-in captain  Moeen Ali thanked Pakistan for all the warmth and hospitality after winning the seven-match T20I series where the Three Lions came out on top 4-3. However, while addressing the media after the decider, Ali made some comparisons between the food provided in Karachi and Lahore.

Ali went on to say that as far as food is concerned he is personally a bit disappointed with Lahore and added that Karachi was way better in comparison. It is to be noted that the seven T20Is were played in two legs. While the first four matches were played in Karachi, Lahore hosted the final three games.

The security has been obviously outstanding: Moeen Ali

"The security has been obviously outstanding. Much more than what we had expected and we got looked after really well. Foodwise, I have been a little bit disappointed in Lahore. Karachi was really nice," said Moeen.

But, it's fine, it's been really nice obviously. It's great but I find it a little bit disappointing this time", he added.

Moeen led England exceptionally well throughout the series and did not back down from making team changes regularly in order to identify their strengths ahead of the T20 World Cup 2022 down under. Meanwhile, the team management decided to rest regular white-ball captain Jos Buttler for all the seven games.

Buttler, who was recovering from a calf injury was reportedly expected to make a comeback in the second leg of the series, but the team management thought of not risking him heading into the showpiece event in Australia.

Coming back to the seventh T20I, England made easy work of Pakistan in a one-sided contest to come out on top by a comprehensive margin of 67 runs. Despite star pacer Haris Rauf's consistent performances, two crucial drop catches by skipper Babar Azam did not help the hosts' cause as Dawid Malan (78*) and Harry Brook's unbeaten 46 powered the Three Lions to a mammoth 209/3.

In reply, the Men in Green were yet again exposed when Babar and Mohammad Rizwan were dismissed early and despite Shan Masood's brave 56, none of the other batters from the middle-order could show any resistance as the hosts were restricted to 142/8.
