Team India is all set to return to action for a two-match Test series against Bangladesh. The series is set to begin on September 19, and it is worth noting that the Indian team has been out of action for a few weeks; their last assignment came against Sri Lanka, and ahead of the series against Bangladesh, the BCCI has conducted a camp between September 13-18 in Chennai.
According to a report, Mumbai’s Himanshu Singh has been called up to the camp. India’s chief selector, Ajit Agarkar, and his co-selectors have been impressed with Himanshi and have been tracking his progress.
Just 21 years old, Himanshu Singh has a similar quite similar to that of Ravichandran Ashwin and has been included in the camp to help India’s batters overcome Bangladesh’s spin attack. Furthermore, Himanshu Singh was also a part of the BCCI's 'emerging players' camp in Anantapur and Bengaluru.

India set to take on Bangladesh in multi-format series
It is worth noting that after the two-game Test series against Bangladesh, India will face off against the side in a three-game T20I series. The three T20Is will be held on 6, 9, and 12 October, with the games being held in Gwalior, Delhi, and Hyderabad.
Bangladesh will be full of confidence as they prepare to take on India. The side recently defeated Pakistan 0-2 in a Test series and made their way up into the World Test Championship standings. The team will hope to put in a similar showing against India, who sit atop the WTC standings and cause yet another upset.
