England won the T20 World Cup beating Pakistan in the final at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Sunday (November 13). Ben Stokes played a heroic knock of 52* runs yet again to step up for the team when they needed him the most. England chased down the modest 138 runs to win the title clash by five wickets in the last over of the game.

By the virtue of this win, England became only the second team in the history to win the T20 World Cup twice after West Indies. They had earlier won the tournament back in 2010. With this trophy, they also take home a massive amount of INR 13.84 crore home. The runners up Pakistan won the prize money of INR 7.4 crore. This is a massive thing for them considering that it seemed as if they will be knocked out early after losses to India and Zimbabwe.
