I am happy about that the most as he is a really big player, he has a lot of experience. He has also coached India and has played for the country, so I am excited," he told India Today.
Suryavanshi is the youngest player to be shortlisted in an IPL auction, breaking the record of Prayas Ray Burman who debuted at the age of 16. It remains to be seen how he performs at a grand stage like the IPL against some of the biggest international stars.
