Pakistan captain Babar Azam said they have been treated very well in India since they landed in the neighbouring country. The Men in Blue began their campaign in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 against the Netherlands on October 6 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad.
Pakistan have come to India for the first time in seven years. They last visited India in 2016 to take part in the ICC T20 World Cup.
"Ah, They are looking after very well. All the team members and players are enjoying. Yes, we will try our best. Today teams. We believe in our openers. Fakhar and Imam are the starters. Shaheen, Haris and Hasan will be in the pace department. To be honest, 290-300-plus [target looking at]," Babar said at the toss.

Speaking about the match, Scott Edwards won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first. The Men in Green got off to the worst possible start as they were four down for 170 in 30 overs. Aryan Dutt, Logan van Beek, Colin Ackerman, and Bas de Leede picked one wicket each. Meanwhile, Muhammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel scored 68 runs each.
