India vs Australia: Raipur organizes 4th T20I using generators and power backup, costing INR 1.4 crore
India defeated Australia in the fourth T20I by 20 runs.
The fourth T20I between India and Australia saw the Men in Blue clinch the series after a brilliant showing in Raipur. However, the game was organized under emergency lighting, as the stadium’s electricity connection was cut off five years ago due to non-clearance of dues of over INR 3.1 crore.
The match was close to being called off. However, generators and a temporary connection saved the day as the Chhattisgarh State Cricket Sangh brought generators, costing INR 1.4 crore.
