India Women's tour of England: Where to Watch, Schedule, Squads, and All you need to know

The English team is all set to take on Team India for a three-match T20I series starting September 10. Both sides have named a strong squad for the 20-over games, and the contest is surely going to be thrilling. The three T20Is will be followed by as many ODIs and all three games will be a part of the ICC Championship.

Both India and England are backed by some good cricket from the recent past. While India was last seen playing at the Commonwealth Games 2022, where they bagged a silver medal, England players were a part of The Hundred 2022 and have had great exposure to white-ball cricket. India defeated England when the two teams met at CWG 2022 and thus the upcoming games will be interesting to watch.

India has announced the squads for both T20Is and ODIs, whereas England has announced the squad only for the 20-over games. As for India, Kiran Navgire received her maiden international call-up for the T20I series after her impressive performances in the domestic setup. On the other hand, Lauren Bell received her T20I call-up after showcasing consistent performances in other formats.

While England defeated South Africa in both T20Is and ODIs before their CWG 2022 stint, India defeated Sri Lanka in both formats before ending up runners-up at the Commonwealth Games. While Heather Knight and Katherine Brunt are set to miss the upcoming bilateral series, the ODI series will be the last international appearance for veteran India pacer Jhulan Goswami as she will bid adieu to the game.
