IPL 2024: 5 players who could not justify their price tags
Many players could not live up to the price for which they were bought during the IPL 2024 Auctions and let's take a look at the five players who couldn't justify their price tags.
1. Alzaari Joseph
It was a big surprise when Royal Challengers Bengaluru decided to release most of their bowlers as they hoped for a new bowling attack for the tournament. They had the funds to buy some of the marquee players and gave a good fight to sign Australia captain Pat Cummins but had to leave when the price became a little high. They ultimately bought West Indies pacer Alzaari Joseph for a whopping INR 11.50 Crores. But it was a poor investment as the speedster leaked runs as he managed only one wicket across the three games he played in the competition at a poor economy of 11.90.
