Kolkata Knight Riders will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the finals of IPL 2024 on Sunday, May 26.
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season has finally reached its climax after two months of fascinating cricketing action among the 10 participating teams. The final match will witness Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for the IPL title in the summit clash at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on May 26.
KKR, led by Shreyas Iyer, had an exceptional run in the group stage, finishing at the top of the table with nine wins out of their 14 matches. They were the first team to secure a spot in the finals after defeating SRH in Qualifier 1.

On the other hand, Pat Cummins' SRH secured the second position on the leaderboard with 17 points and then registered a victory over Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Qualifier 2 to book their place in the grand finale.
Adding to the excitement, the IPL 2024 closing ceremony promises to be a memorable event, featuring the renowned American band Imagine Dragons. The popular group has expressed their enthusiasm about performing at the IPL, where they will take the stage and light up the night.

Well, well. Imagine Dragons not to perform?!!
The Chepauk Stadium DJ has put out a story saying that Imagine Dragons are not going to perform this evening. It was just a rumour he said. But very interestingly, he wrote "But I'm a bad liar, bad liar" at the bottom of the screen. Now, that happens to be a line from one of the songs from Imagine Dragons. But it can also mean that he is lying all about it.
Well, only time will tell if media reports are right or the Chepauk DJ.
Who are Imagine Dragons?
For the unversed, Imagine Dragons is a pop rock band based out of Las Vegas. Its members include the lead vocalist Dan Reynolds, guitarist Wayne Sermon, bassist Ben McKee and drummer Daniel Platzman.
As per reports, they have sold more than 74 million albums and 65 million digital songs worldwide, making them one of the world's best-selling music artists.

The IPL Final is just hours away and so is the closing ceremony which is slated to begin at 6pm IST. American band Imagine Dragons is going to perform. If we go by the opening ceremony which featured some of the Bollywood biggies, the closing ceremony is expected to be no less starry.
