The complete IPL 2024 schedule has been announced now, with the opening match featuring MS Dhoni's CSK against Virat Kohli's RCB on March 22. 

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals (DC) are set to play two home games in Vizag, with Delhi unable to host any games owing to the short turnaround for the venue following the 2024 WPL. DC's remaining home games are set to be played in Delhi as the remainder of the schedule will be announced.

In the previous season, DC finished second-to-last with five wins in 14 matches, below their usual standards. Looking to make a strong comeback, the Capitals anticipate the return of their captain, Rishabh Pant, who is set to participate in IPL 2024 after recovering from injuries suffered in a life-threatening accident in December 2022.

Delhi Capitals' squad for the upcoming 2024 IPL season is a formidable blend of experienced campaigners and promising young talents. Led by Pant, the team boasts a star-studded lineup and looks solid with the inclusion of explosive batters like David Warner, Prithvi Shaw, the emerging talent Yash Dhull and Pant himself.
