Sunrisers Hyderabad etched their name in IPL history by scoring a record-breaking 287/3 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in IPL 2024. This became the highest-ever team total in IPL history, surpassing RCB’s previous record of 263/5 back in 2013 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

Travis Head scored a century off just 39 balls, while Klaasen and Abhishek Sharma played explosive knocks as the carnage continued. They smashed 22 sixes and 19 fours en route to that total, and this inning depicted the evolution of T20 and the latest approach of modern day batters to smash the ball out of the park from the word 'go'. Sunrisers' record-breaking feat will be remembered for a long time and will go down as an iconic moment in IPL history.
