Batter Sarfaraz Khan is having an excellent time on the domestic circuit. The right-handed batter recently scored 138 off 178 balls in the Irani Trophy against Saurashtra. With this hundred, he now has more runs than the batting legend Sir Don Bradman in the domestic circuit.

While Bradman amassed a total of 2927 runs in 22 first-class matches, Sarfaraz has scored 2928 runs, but he has taken seven more innings as compared to the veteran batter. Sarfaraz also has the second-best strike rate in the domestic arena, with only Bradman is ahead of him in this category.

Sarfaraz thrashed the Saurashtra bowling line-up

Following an excellent bowling effort from the Rest of India, where they knocked out the MP for just 98 in 24.5 overs, ROI batter got to a poor start with Abhimanyu Easwaran, Mayank Agarwal, and Yash Dhull falling cheaply.

However, skipper Hanuma Vihari and Sarfaraz stitched an excellent partnership between them and bailed their side from a tricky situation. Vihari fell after scoring 82 runs, but Sarfaraz continued to play his shots as he completed yet another hundred, which included 19 boundaries and three sixes.

In the presence of the chairman of selectors Chetan Sharma and his colleague Sunil Joshi, the right-handed batter showed his wide range of shots as none of the opposition bowlers caused any trouble to the batter.

Sarfaraz has now scored nine 100s and five 50s in his last 24 First Class innings. Meanwhile, his side has crossed the 300-run mark in the first innings and is in strong position to have a big lead after the first innings.
