ISPL 2024 Winner Prize Money: Complete List of Award-Winners, Top Records & Stats - All You Need To Know

Tigers of Kolkata were crowned the champions of the inaugural edition of the Indian Street Premier League 2024 (ISPL 2024) as they beat Majhi Mumba in the final on Friday, March 15 at Dadoji Konddev Stadium, Thane. After being put in to bat first, Mumba's innings never got going as they lost their openers Raviraj Ahire (8 off 7) and Ajaz Qureshi (9 off 15) within the first overs having just 19 runs on the board.

Wickets continued to tumble with captain Yogesh Penkar (3 off 4), Abhishek Kumar Dalhor (1 off 2) and Ashraf Khan (0 off 1) falling cheaply leaving Mumba in all sorts of trouble at 21/5 after 5.2 overs. Contributions from Vijay Pawle (13 off 10), Syed Salman (6 off 7), Ravi Gupta (5 off 6) and 13 extras took Mumba to 58/9 in their allotted ten overs.

In reply, the Tigers of Kolkata eased their way to the modest target set by Mumba as both openers Munna Shaikh and captain Prathamesh Pawar started positively. In no time, the batting duo chipped away with Mumbai’s total and reached home unscathed in just 7.4 overs. They finished their innings on 62/0 after 7.4 overs with Shaikh on 34* (26) and Pawar on 30* (20).

As a result, Kolkata clinched the trophy in the first edition of ISPL which was handed over to them by Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan.
