Jason Gillespie alleges Aaqib Javed of plotting and undermining authority, calls him 'clown'

The turmoil surrounding Pakistan's cricket coach continues to build. Jason Gillespie, the former head coach of Pakistan, called the current coach Aaqib Javed "a clown" and claimed that he undermined Gillespie's and Gary Kirsten's (Gillespie's predecessor) authority.
Additionally, he accused Javed of secretly arranging to take over as Pakistan's men's team head coach. Gillespie was replying to a post on his Instagram account in which Javed was accused of attributing the Pakistan men's team's subpar results to the frequent management changes.
Previously, Jason Gillespie, the recently hired red-ball coach of Pakistan cricket who was also tasked with directing the squad on their white-ball tour of Australia, was fired from his position as coach.
Jason Gillispie posted a story on Instagram stating, "This is hilarious, Aaqib was clearly undermining Gary and I behind the scenes, campaigning to be the coach in all formats. He is a clown."

After Gary Kirsten quit as the white-ball coach for the national team, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had talks that led to the announcement, which might be made as early as Monday, November 18. They desired that Gillespie take over as coach for all formats but without receiving more compensation.
Since he was easily accessible to do the three-format duties, Aaqib Javed, who was named convenor of the men's cricket selection committee earlier in October, emerged as the board's preference.
Following Pakistan's lacklustre Champions Trophy departure in which they lost all of their games, Javed came under heavy fire.
Even as the board tried to mend the situation with one coach commanding all the three formats, infighting and back-and-forthing have contributed towards the woes of the team only. Hiring the services of Aaqib Javed, an option available since he had an easier itinerary at hand and was perceived as readily available, turned out to prove counterproductive after his sensational involvement in dropping Gillespie and Kirsten.
