Who is Mohammed Siraj's rumoured girlfriend Mahira Sharma?

Star India pacer Mohammed Siraj had a tough end to 2024, as he was not picked by his former team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) mega auctions. Subsequently, he missed out on a berth in the Champions Trophy 2025 squad. As the right-arm pacer is dealing with some ups and downs in his professional life, social media was abuzz with his personal life meanwhile. 

There were speculations that the Hyderabad-born pacer is dating actress Mahira Sharma. For the unversed, Mahira rose to fame with her appearance in the Hindi reality Television show, Bigg Boss. She hails from Jammu and Kashmir and is currently featured in several Punjabi movies and has appeared in album songs. After months of speculations, according to the Economic Times, insiders who are close to the couple have confirmed their relationship.

The social media was bombarded by the rumours of Mohammed Siraj dating Mahira after he liked one of her posts on Instagram. Both followed each other on Instagram and this was enough fodder for the fans to churn out possibilities of their relationship. It is worth noting that, neither Siraj nor Mahira have confirmed or spoken about their relationship so far.

Speaking of Mahira, besides appearing in Bigg Boss, she has previously acted in several popular television series, including Naagin (2018), Bepanah Pyar (2019), and Kundali Bhagya (2019). She made her acting debut with Yaaron Ka Tashan (2017). She made her acting debut in the Punjabi industry with a film called "LehmberGinni" in 2023. She has featured in over 50 music videos, including hits like Lehenga, Mexico Koka, and Gal Karke.

Meanwhile. amid the rumours doing the rounds, recently, Mahira's mother Sania Sharma, came forward to clarify the air on the rumoured star couple. She denied that her daughter was seeing Siraj and that linking her daughter with anyone was not fair.

"What? Yeh kya bol rahe hai aap. Aisa kuch bhi nahi hai. Log toh kuch bhi bolte hai. Abhi meri beti celebrity hai toh log apna muh kholke kisi se bhi uska naam jod denge, toh hum kya usse maan le. Yeh khabar puri tarah se jhooth hai (What are you saying? There is nothing like that. People say anything. Now that my daughter is a celebrity, people will link her name with anyone, so should we believe them? This news is completely false)," Sania said as quoted by Times Now.
