ODI World Cup 2023: MS Dhoni, Amitabh Bachchan amongst celebs to attend final
India and Australia will take on each other in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, November 19.
After 42 days of action-packed cricket in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, the event will finally reach its culmination on Sunday, November 19 as India and Australia will take on each other in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. To make the event grander a star-studded guest list and an Air Show by Surya Kiran aerobatic team of the Indian Air Force has been organized.
Several eminent personalities of the country are likely to grace the event with their presence as the Men in Blue look to end the ten-year wait for an ICC trophy. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to be present along with other dignitaries. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has also been invited for the mega clash.

According to a report in Deccan Herald, former World Cup-winning captains of India namely Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni will also mark their presence in the mega final. Apart from them, members of the 2011 World Cup winning team Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh and others are also expected to arrive at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Current India cricketers Hardik Pandya and Yuzvendra Chahal are also likely to be present for the mega event.
The report further states that Aditya Gadhavi, singer of the viral song ‘Khalasi’ will also serenade the fans with his hits. Furthermore, music composer Pritam Chakraborty, who composed the official theme song of the tournament ‘Dil Jashn Bole’ will also be seen performing his chartbuster songs with singer Jonita Gandhi.
Amitabh Bachchan and Rajnikanth also likely to attend the final
Apart from performers and cricketers, the final will also have legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan, Rajnikanth, Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal, Venkatesh, and Nagarjuna in attendance while ‘RRR’ fame actor Ram Charan is also likely to mark his presence.

Notably, it will be India’s third appearance in the ODI World Cup final as they’ve played in the mega clash previously during the 1983, 2003 and 2011 editions. The Men in Blue have two World Cup trophies in their cabinet as they were crowned World Champions in 1983 and 2011 editions. The Rohit Sharma-led side will be eager to emulate the glory of the 2011 team which won the World Cup on home soil and ended the 28-year wait for the mega title.
