Star India batter Virat Kohli was once again spotted rolling his arm over in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 during Match 45 against the Netherlands on Sunday, November 12 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. Kohli came in to bowl the 23rd over of the innings as the crowd at his home ground of the IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore cheered for him.

The right-arm medium bowler gave away six runs in his over as Sybrand Engelbrecht edged one through the slips for a four. However, in his second over, Kohli finally managed to get the wicket of Netherlands captain Scott Edwards who got strangled down the leg side on the third ball of the 25th over. Seeing Kohli get his fifth ODI wicket, his wife and Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma went wild in the stands as she burst out with laughter.

As a result, the Netherlands were bundled out for 250 in 47.5 overs and India won the match by 160 runs. Courtesy of their win, India extended their winning streak to nine matches and they finished on the top of the points table with nine wins from as many matches having 18 points to their name.

Earlier in the day, India posted a massive total of 410/4 in their allotted 50 overs. Captain Rohit Sharma (61 off 54), Shubman Gill (51 off 32), Virat Kohli (51 off 56), Shreyas Iyer (128 off 94) and KL Rahul (102 off 64) were all amongst the runs for India as it was the first instance of all top five scoring a fifty-plus score in a World Cup game.
