Ravichandran Ashwin gives befitting response to troll following match winning heroics against Bangladesh
Ashwin was adjudged the Player of the Match for his crucial fourth innings knock and for bagging six wickets in the contest.
Veteran India all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin gave a befitting reply to a troll on social media following his match-winning performance against Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Sunday, December 25. Ashwin played a vital role in winning the game for India from the jaws of defeat as he scored 42* runs off 62 balls to guide the side to a three-wicket win over the hosts.
Ashwin was adjudged the Player of the Match for his crucial knock and bagging six wickets in the contest. However, following the match, Nibraz Ramzan (a Sri Lankan journalist at DailyCricketSL as per his Twitter bio) aimed a dig at the veteran spinner claiming that Ashwin should have handed the award to Mominul Haque for dropping an easy catch at forward short leg.
“You should have handed this ???? to Mominul Haque, Who dropped that dolly.. had he bagged it, India all out for 89 for sure.. @Ashwinravi99,” posted Nibraz.
The veteran offie did not hold back and gave a rather witty response to Nibraz saying that the latter would not have anything to do if India stops playing cricket matches.
“Oh no! I thought I blocked you, oh sorry that’s the other guy. what’s his name?? Yes, Daniel Alexander that’s the name!! Imagine what you both would do if India dint play cricket,” responded Ashwin on Twitter.

The side now stands second on the standings below Australia and is on course to make a spot in the summit clash of the event.
